Summary of project achievements
Technological achievements regarding design, insulation, inner tank, smart control and size of the EcoWaterHeater were secured through the project work and resulted in the its success.
Design - The unique design of EcoWaterHeater allows maximum use of available space and provides optimal insulation.
Insulation - EcoWaterHeater uses a new generation of insulation which is significantly better than that used in water heaters today. The standing heat loss is reduced by more than 40 %.
Inner tank - A new production method has resulted in an inner tank of higher quality, facilitating a more effective production, a longer product life-time and improved exploitation of the tank volume.
Smart control - The Smart control enables the water heater to adapt to user requirements, only heating water when needed and also avoiding safety concerns regarding bacterial growth.
Sizes - EcoWaterHeater is supplied in four different sizes to satisfy consumer demands. The water heater can either be placed on the floor or hung on the wall, and the water can either be connected to the top or the bottom of the heater.
